Atlassian is running its 3rd annual plugin competition. Apologies to Gandhi for this year’s theme–be the code you seek 
Cash prizes keep going up year after year; six winners will receive $5,000 cash plus other goodies.
You don’t even need to be a designer to enter the Atlassian tshirt competition.
“Unleash the graphic designer in yourself and send in a design. If the thought of designing something makes you break out in hives, don’t despair: we’re accepting great slogans too. And if you just like to watch, we’ve got you covered. Because YOU will choose the top designs through a totally democratic voting process (after which point the Atlassian oligarchy will take control and choose the winner).”
Last year we went to Office 2.0 where all attendees received a 4GB iPhone. It didn’t seem fair to give the iPhone to the person from Atlassian who just happened to go to the conference… afterall, it was the company, not the individual, that paid to attend the event. So, we thought it would be fun to give it away in a tshirt design competition. But when Apple discontinued the 4GB version, we decided we couldn’t give it away in a competition. Therefore, prizes are either an 8GB iPhone or a 16GB iPod Touch (de rigueur!) — your choice.
Now watch as Apple launches 16GB and 32GB products at MacWorld… Doh!
